The standard of the Hull and East Yorkshire league improves year on year. The GLBs rose to that standard and more this season. Truly epitomising mixed social volleyball throughout the season every team within the club has had players turn out to play for the GLBs. A special mention must go out to the GLB purists of Chung, Newton and Greenwood. Their enthusiasm and passion is a joy to play alongside. Thanks to the Heyva committee for the revival, organisation, and smooth running of the cup competition. It’s been fantastic to see these boys develop over the last few seasons. Two of our clubs become one.Looks like exciting times ahead for the newly named West Riding Eagles2024 is a new era for West Riding and Bradford Eagles as the two clubs have merged to expand more volleyball across a wider area. It is with regret we announce that the scheduled 3rd round of the HEYVA Summer Grass Series will not take place as planned.We have worked hard in the background to ensure that it took place but due to the council not granting us use of the beach and not being able to find a suitable alternative at short notice we have had to cancel.For the teams that are competing for the Summer Series, all existing points are still valid, going into what will now be a next and final round at York Volleyfest. ...
